Excuse me for asking, but I am a little confused about this.
Earlier today a thread I posted was deleted. Now I and other members that posted on the thread are a little confused about this; nothing in the thread broke any of the guidelines, so we were wondering why it was deleted.
The thread was called "Censorship" if that's any help. Y'see, we were also curious as to why that was deleted but none of the spam threads have been deleted and none of the rude posts some other members have made have been deleted.
Oh dear. I do think this is bad.

The comments that were on here, and on the rules blog post, that asked about the Banning of Merciless Legion have been deleted.
It's no fun if you don't play fair.
We're being nice, pretending this is all just a strange coincidence that anything that goes against you is deleted and not calling you names, but I think it's unfair to just delete it. At least give us some kind of response!
Civil disagreements are always the best, no one gets offended, and if you let yourself, it can be enjoyable. Yes, I'm encouraging you to argue back.
Well, I left a perfectly reasonable comment a week ago and haven't had a reply.
Is it really that difficult for the admin to deal with? Is that because you don't have an answer to your censorship and you're hoping I'll go away, or are you too busy?
And if you're too busy to deal with comments why are you administrating the forum?

Why'd you ban nathan_p? When went through this with Merciless Legion. You at least give a reason.
Having run forums myself (and I'm very glad that mess died on me, place was a dump) I know how it works. And I know it can be hard. Have you ever done anything like this before?
When I was doing this, I was one of a team of three admins and a moderator. It was hard work, but I learnt quite a bit.
I like to think of myself as an aproachable guy, feel free to ask me if you want any advice.
Actually, I'll give you one bit for free.
Stop abusing your members! Banning people and not giving a reason is a Bad Way of doing things. Keep this up, and no one's going to want to come here.
To grow properly, forums need some kind of personality, which is usually provided by the members. You've succesfully removed two of those. Two that I know of.
They had a name for the group that used to do this kind of thing, they were the SS in Hitler's Germany.
Actually, part of me does want to help you, which is why this post is more advice than me cursing you, your employer, your dog and your dog's employer.
I can understand not un-banning nathan_p, and I can really understand not un-banning Merciless Legion, but you need to find a better way of doing this. Just outright banning people isn't going to help anyone. Posting vague guidelines that amount to 'don't swear' isn't going to stop it either.
More warnings, less bannings. Think before you leap. Give them a chance to repent. Then kick their sorry backsides off.
Hey, excuse me but is there a way to ban people from this site? There's someone who seems to have confused maximum x with match.com...please answer. this person is scaring me a little bit.
