It's a bit difficult to say. I've seen her act and I'm not entirely sure. You see, in reading the series I always saw you (Max) as someone who always looks and acts a bit frustrated, considering all the internal narration and the dialogue not to mention all the folks shooting at you. Maybe it was just the choreographer that they hired and the context of the shots, but she just doesn't seem to have the same intensity.
To quote George Lucas:
"Could you do it again, but this time faster and more intense?"
