Maximum Ride- Casting News

So, I dunno if this is true or not, but my aunt has contacts, because she works as a talent agent, so this is what I heard:
There will be no open castings FOR NOW. Actually, they had asked a celebrity, (don't ask me who, she wouldn't tell :[ ) but she turned it down, so they made a closed casting. Which pretty much means you need an agent, YOUR agent, to recommend you for the part, you go, you audition, blabla.
Now, this is not confirmed confirmed, but I knew a lot of you wanted to know, so I hope this helps a bit.
Don't give up yet!
They might change it to open auditions, I'll keep my ears open and tell you anything new as soon as I (or my aunt) know.

I just remember reading in Fang's blog and Max was talking about the movie and she had this youtube video and someone thought ellen page should play Max and Max said she liked her. So that pretty much means JP liked her. But then again he has no influence on the movie right?
