I just saw New Moon. It was a 7 on the good-o-movie-scale. (1-10) Better script, emotion, directing- everything.

I saw a version of Narnia that was a perfect representation of the book with only a small amount edited. The modern version is MUCH better, even if it doesn't directly stick to the story.

Which I find hard to do, most of the time. The first Narnia was a fair representation of the book. The Golden Compass didn't even show the ending. Hideous.

*eyeroll* The book was hideous. Staying true to a book doesn't define how good a movie is. When viewing a movie based on a book, you need to unbias yourself.
