I wrote this at 4 o’clock this morning, dang energy drinks!!
It actually rhymes, sorta, not perfectly! It just came to me.

Dark Aura Around my Soul

Not even the light can penetrate the black hole called my heart
Pure pitch-black darkness surrounds my soul
I live my life filled with sorrow, hate, regret, sadness

I need help; someone needs to save me from myself
No one can break through the barrier around me
I wish a drop of hope would be enough but it doesn't exist

I try to fill the void but nothing seems to work
I can feel the dark aura swirling and growing

Death of a Friend

Blood taints the floor as my friend falls
His assassin leaves in a hurry
I can’t leave my friend alone
Why did he shoot my friend?

He looks up at me and I can see the pain in his eyes

I hate this, I feel so weak

Innocent lives are lost every day. Their blood was collected in a magnifacent fountain. Soon that fountain was overflowing and the blood was transfered into a huge lake. The Lake is expanding. It's now called the Red Sea. It continues to grow even today but each person only added one drop of pure blood.
