We will all start in cages at the school, and when we escape, we can go our seperate ways, or be one big flock.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked Lia, who'd come with us and was flying beside me. "I don't know," she replied. "Why'd you betray me?"
"I don't know."
"Dammit, Lia! That's not an answer!"
"I...I...I...."
"You were my best friend! I trusted you!"
"I thought you were dead."
"I thought you were dead, too! You don't see me joining ITEX!"
"I...I...I...."
"I don't want to hear your crap anymore!" I yelled and we flew in silence. The flock all stared at me with looks of concern.

Lia had come with us, but we'd left her-I mean our brother, Danny, back with the General. He'd argued with Lia, but listened to me. He'd cried and hugged us, he said if we didn't make it he'd tell Mom I loved her. I looked over at Lia, who was flying next to me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Zoey asked and I looked at her.
"I don't know," I replied.

"I don't know."
"Dame, Lia! That's not an answer."
"I...I...I...."
"I trusted you! You were my best friend!"
"I thought you were dead!"
"You thought wrong. Even if I was dead, you shouldn't have worked with ITEX!"
"It was that or die!"
"I'd rather die."
"Danny wouldn't!"
"Fine. I understand why, now," she said and we flew in silence, her flock staring at her with mixed faces of what's-wrong and concern.
