What if Max actually DID fall for Dylan?
I've heard a lot of grief over how it couldn't possibly ever happen, but now I pose the question as to what if it did?
I want to know how YOU would react, not the characters. I already know what you would say about them("Fang would kill Dylan", "OMG that would never happen", etc...).
Since it seems to me that half of you are incapable of research:
Dylan, according to the teaser for FANG released by amazon.com/uk, is another birdkid genetically engineered to be Max's ideal boyfriend.

You can be... well, you unconsciously search for the traits that you find most appealing- or rather, the traits that your DNA do. So the Whitecoats could have genetically altered Dylan and Max to be "perfect" for each other before they were born.

I think it wouldn't happen. NOT just cuz of Fang or the fact that i dont want it to but Max was supposed to "save" the world by the by-half plan. She didn't. She is a rebel of everything the school wants her to be. They wanted her to be a weapon and she went against them. Think about it: nothing they want her to do is working right. She does nothing they want her to and everything they don't want her to. I think she'll stay with Fang. They're soul mates (or so they think) and they've been best friends for fourteen years. Max wouldn't leave him for Dylan. It's not her style.

Max stands for everything The School is not. She rebels against their very being. Seriously? Max has gone on whole page long rants about how TERRIBLE the School is.
Being with DYlan is against her whole belief system and everything she goes by! However, you ARE sometimes attracted to people you absolutely hate. Or are supposed to like and therefore hate but you still like.....
um.... i didn't get that either...

Did you read the OP?
I'm not asking about the characters because I know that You'll wind up saying that regardless. I want to know how YOU would react if they did. Your reactions. Nothing about the characters.
But as an argument, so far all the school has tried is weapons and "do this, do that." Dylan is a completely different approach.

I wouldn't care if Max was with him for a while as long as she went back to Fang sometime later.
