Ok, I've Gotta Know What The Deal Is!

Niggy, Fudge and let's add a possible Nylan to this too.

Half of the forum say 'Oh yeah Nudge and [inset older male character here] would be AWESOME' - which i have no problem with; it's the other half that say 'NO! She's 11 and they're 14/15!'

I have to know what the deal is here. The difference between 11 and 14/15 isn't that much; i've dated guys 3 or 4 years older than me and no one had a problem with it.

Seriously, why does this bother people?

A sixth grader dating a high school kid, which is basically the case here.

Permalink Reply by EndOfTheEarth on November 5, 2009 at 8:09pm: Because most of the people here are ages 12-17. At those ages, the next age or two appears to be a long way away. Once you pass 18 or so though, everyone within three years of you start to look the same.

So it's the age of the readers. If you asked them this four or five years from now, they'd probably agree with you.; ▶ Reply to This

Maybe it's an American thing...with the way you have them in 'grades' and the ages people are in these grades. What grades would Nudge and Max, Fang and Iggy would be in? Just so i can get a better perspective of this.; ▶ Reply to This
