Have you ever felt too excited to read a book?
For example, when the 5th Maximum Ride book came out I got it, then I read it. But since I was so excited, I read as fast as I could to find out what happened, I ended up missing some parts and forgetting some things.

I usually dive right in, and I definitely miss stuff. Also, I can't really form valid opinions on books I read uberfast. It took me a while, after HP7, to realize that I didn't really like it that much. I was way woozy. XD
As for MR... well, I felt that way about book 3, but I can't imagine anyone feeling excited about the series after the epic fail of MR4. *shudder* I'm glad you enjoyed it, though, makes me remember when I was actually excited about MR.
