Getting Max and Fang together won't be cliche if JP add lots of twists into the book.

I'm suspicious of this Dylan person actually ~_~
He might be working for the enemy....the timing of his appearance is more than just pure coincidence...
Besides...I really thought that Fang is Max's soul mate...so Dylan shouldn't matter because he's just 'created' to be Max's perfect mate ~_~ how would they know what Max would want when they couldn't even bend her to their will anyway?

Yeah. Dylans just another character JP threw in the mix. Besides if hes 2nd generation (Max and flock r first gen) hed be WAY too young, wouldn't he?
Maybe hed end up with Nudge or something. I feel bad for her... Max treats her like shes a little kid, and Iggy too. Like, shes not mean to them, but She left gazzy and iggy behind in book 1, because he was blind, and gazzy cuz he was"too young" and then she brought nudge along.
After that, shes kind of like a secondary unnecesssary character.
The only flock members she ever talks about are Fang and Angel.
Plus Angel gets ALL thesse super powers, and Gazzy has his... special talent. And iggy can feel colors. Thats it.
Angel can 1) read minds 2) change into that weird bird thing, the blue one 3) breathe underewater 4) convince people to do somethign... in their mind...
Give Iggy telepathy or something!!
....

Yeah, what the whitecoats don't seem to get is that Max has a choice. So even if Dylan was 'created' to be with Max, Max can still choose to be with Fang. Plus, Fang and Max have a close bond because they are best friends too. And that's really important in a relationship. So, basically, Dylan doesn't stand a chance *knocks on wood* =).

Hehe Mylan and Dax sound a bit off to me. I'm totally Fax/Mang all the way! See, the thing is that though he may be 'Max's other half' that doesn't mean that they get together. I mean, plenty of people out there have potential to be together and be all 'perfect' but don't get together because that's just the way things end up. Besides, if Dylan is Max's so-called 'other-half', then Fang must be Max's whole. Because they are the closest thing to perfect I've seen. And Max has a choice. She and Fang have been together for a longer time and are also best friends which makes their relationship strong. The whitecoats haven't added into the equation that Max has a choice. So even if Dylan was 'created for Max', Max doesn't have to choose him. She can choose the Fangalator. Oooh, I have an idea now! What if the scientist dude was lying? It's not the first time a whitecoat had lied to them.. so why not again? Maybe he lied either to see how solid the relationship between Max and Fang is or maybe he wanted to get on Max's good side, try to hook 'em up, and then Max would trust Dylan enough that he could capture them or something.. in which case Dylan is actually evil and it makes sense. Soap opera much? I think so.. but it'll make things interesting. Sorry for this reaallly long comment!
