I believe so, you obviously don't.

S/he mentioned the Bible "the bible relates to the prophecies" and I was simply saying that the Bible says we won't know so it's not likely it will point towards a specific date.

Yeah, if they ask a question then I answer it as best I can but otherwise it's just a nuisance to them.

Has anybody considered this idea of no one will know the time or the place the world ends as a metaphor for when death takes you? After all, the world is over for you. Perhaps thats what it means.
